WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Women's Ministry offers women (18 years and over) the opportunity to develop meaningful friendships, receive support and encouragement, and grow in the knowlege of God. Whether you are married or single, young or 'young at heart', a member of Pewee Valley or not - Women's Ministry is for you.
Meeting dates are the second Monday of each month at 6:00 pm at the church fellowship hall. We have a light supper followed by a short devotional, then a special feature. Each month's special feature, whether it be a guest speaker or other activity, is planned for your enjoyment. Please see the calendar of events.
Several of the projects we have done include sewing little girls dresses for Africa, crocheting/knitting squares for an afghan for the needy, and Christmas stockings for the women at Rosehaven. We also have a plant exchange, cookie exchange, white elephant sale, Thanksgiving dinner, Valentine's dinner (men are invited), and many other programs throughout the year.
